You can also immediately go out and buy credits, boosters, ect. Well now you'd have to devote most of your weekend to just grinding to get 1 basic gun!īut wait!.

Maybe you work a full time job like me, and can't play for most days of the week. 100 matches at 10 minutes each would take about 16.6 hours.

The basic primary weapons cost 20,000 credits, so if you only made 200 credits per match then you would have to play 100 matches just to unlock a basic unskinned gun. With the added repair system, new players might not even make 200 credits from one match (I know this because it happens to me). New players playing against veterans would get fewer kills and therefore earn less per match. That is not only unfair (new players haven't even had the time to learn the maps, guns, ect., the veterans don't get a proper challenge), but it's also rigged. Ironsight on the other hand doesn't have fair matchmaking, instead they let seasoned veterans stomp on new players. In Ironsight, if you don't own even the most basic rifle then you can't use it! If the meta changes, everyone can still switch to whatever gun is the most OP. A maxed out player in CSGO can use the AWP, just as a brand new player can. Every skinned gun has the same exact stats as the base version. so even if you're level 1 and you bought 100 lootboxes, you would have the same access to the same basic guns that every other player has. Meanwhile CSGO may have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lootboxes, but at least every basic weapon is unlocked. There's even a whole marketplace where players can go to arrange to trade with others.

Warframe cosmetics are not locked behind gambling mechanics, and free players can earn an unlimited amount of the premium currency for free by just trading items. Warframe for example has fair gameplay, as new players go against low level enemies. Games were also much more polished as they weren't be rushed out to maximize profit.įree to play is no excuse for greed either. Nowadays even $60 games are filled with additional microtransactions. You would pay one price and get a complete game for around $30 (many games actually costed less back then) and it wouldn't have any MTX. When I was a little girl, we didn't all have these rampant microtransactions. They're always making games with rigged matchmaking, other forms of P2W, weaponized grind (for encouraging spending), gambling, and then neglecting to fix even the most fundamental issues like bugs, lag, cheaters, ect. The modern gaming industry TBH really gets on my nerves. Originally posted by AlphaLeader772:MissNurseXochi you speak straight facts!
